We are continuing to work very hard on getting Valerie to the U.S. for medical care. We have had some positive rays of hope in the past few days & some frustrations. But we will not rest until we get a YES & we hope that we will get one soon.

I am attaching an article that ran in the Katy News today. Student council groups throughout the Houston area will begin a donation drive to benefit Valerie beginning Monday.

How you can help:
*Please consider doing a donation drive through your work or church congregation. We are very powerful when we work together.
*Keep Valerie in your hearts & minds
*Think of the contacts you have in your life that can help Valerie now & in the future. Personal contacts make things happen quicker...
*E-mail words of hope, ideas, suggestions.....many minds are better than a few

I was unable to get a direct update on Valerie today. I will keep you posted as soon as I hear any news.
